In 2002 I joined a short-term missions team to Namibia in SW Africa, where they say the dust mixes with your blood and you can't help but return. Since then I've been back 6 times, most recently to live for a year as a distributed pastor of Christ's Church of Amherst. So beautiful...rain is expected here, and with the mounds of snow - much melting is set to occur :(
that is one of the mist beautiful things I have ever seen... I wish I saw it live... that is such a blessing!!
btw... I do not like coming home to 11 degree weather... grrrr... I mean brrrr...
