In 2002 I joined a short-term missions team to Namibia in SW Africa, where they say the dust mixes with your blood and you can't help but return. Since then I've been back 6 times, most recently to live for a year as a distributed pastor of Christ's Church of Amherst. Indeed. I had a moment of silence for Karen's toe...and then put on my shoes. :)
